First off, I hafta say that my computer is being increasingly annoying today.
Anyway, Christmas.
It's my favorite holiday of the year. I love the songs, the lights, the presents...everything! We have all of our indoor decorations set up (unfortunately Momma wasn't feeling up to putting up the outside lights so our house is dark this Christmas), and there are presents under the tree. Today, Momma and I baked all day, so we have five different kinds of cookies ready to eat: chocolate chip cookies, candy cane cookies, fudge, oreo truffles, and refridgerator cookies. Yum nummy! It was alot of hard work, especially the candy cane cookies because the dough got all sticky and hard to roll. But now we have Christmas treats! Unfortunately this means that now I have to clean all day tomorrow. Momma's friend Wanda is coming over for Christmas this weekend (which is weird cause she usually comes after Christmas), so we have to make the house all nice for her. And I have a choir concert to attend on Saturday and Sunday night. I'm not exactly sure how good it's gonna turn out because I feel a sore throat coming on. I guess it's a good thing I didn't get a solo, huh? I'm just happy to be performing in front of a crowd again, even if it is among a large group of people (most of whom are twice my age and have three or four grandchildren...yeah, it's THAT kind of choir). Then just five more days till Christmas!
Oh! And 10 more days till 9 comes out on DVD! I'm excited for that!

9!!
It's finally here! The day I've been waiting for for two months! 9 premiers tomorrow!
Yes, I am talking about a movie. A movie directed by the incredible Shane Acker and produced by the one and only Tim Burton. I discovered this movie a couple months ago when my boyfriend took me out to see Transformers 2 and we saw the trailer for 9 there. I became curious, and began doing my research. I have become obsessed with a movie before I've seen it. Which NEVER happens!
9 is based on a short film made by Shane Acker when he was in UCLA studying for a degree in Architecture. It's 11 minutes of pure and raw entertainment. You can watch the original short http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IQcMeNh7Hc <-- HERE. It's really good! The short has been expanded into an eighty minute long movie, in which new characters and monsters are introduced, and the backstory is included. The movie's coming out tomorrow and I am so seeing it! This movie stars: Christopher Plummer as 1. Martin Landau as 2. John C. Reilly as 5. Crispin Glover as 6 (6 is in my blog title, btw). Jennifer Connelly as 7. Fred Tatasciore as 8. Elijah Wood as 9. The twins, 3 and 4, don't speak. Anyone who is interested in learning more about this movie can visit these sites: http://9experiment.com/ - the Scientist's Laboratory, where you can learn the backstory of the movie and characters.

http://thexsource.proboards.com/index.cgi - a roleplay forum for the movie, of which I am a member.
The Scientist also has a facebook, so go check that out as well (It's pretty much the same info found on the Scientist's Laboratory without all the prettiness...)!
TOMORROW!! OH, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

A Long Week
I don't think I've ever been through a longer week than this last week. It was just so...slow and neverending! It was the kind of week where, when you go back to describe something you did on a Wednesday, you suddenly remember that you had done that Tuesday and you, "seriously? I just did that yesterday??"
I don't know what it is...I don't have anything to do, and that must be the cause of my frustration. Maybe it's because I can't wait for a movie that's coming out in September (seriously, I am OBSSESSED with this movie) called 9, and the excitement is making the weeks before the movie's release seem longer. Just like the last few days before Christmas, you know? When the days seem like weeks and the weeks seem like months.
Maybe it's because my frustration has gone up since joining a forum devoted to the movie, where all of the members are having angst problems that border on pathetic. My frustration is adding to my already high stress level, and making the days go by slowly.
Maybe it's because I haven't been able to get a good night's sleep since July, and my mind feels like it's going to explode because no sleep gives you more time to think about stressful things.
I honestly don't know what it is. All I know is that this last week was L-O-N-G, long! Someone save me from the bordom and the stress, please!!
