Doozed and Confazed!

Man, is school getting hard! I'm finding myself with so much homework it's hard to keep up. Between the online quizzes in math class and the papers I have to write between two classes, I'm totally overwhelmed. The math quizzes wouldn't be so bad except that because I have to do them online, my computer sometimes doesn't load them correctly and therefore I can't get them all done. And I know it's my fault for taking and English class and a Journalism class, I mean, come on! How many papers can one person do?

On top of it all, I had a date on Sunday, and now the guy won't leave me alone! Yesterday I was trying to do homework for English and Math, and he kept texting me! I told him I was doing homework and he was like, "Cool. So how are you?" Now, when someone tells you they're doing homework, do you continue to ask how they're doing while they're trying to concentrate? Well, this guy does. Then he texted me while I was driving to school this morning and he texted me twice. Finally I had to text him back at a stop light and tell him I was driving and couldn't talk. Then he texted me in English class! I was like, "Dude, I'm in class!!!!" I don't mind dating the guy but now he seems to think we're a couple and it's ANNOYING! Besides which, I think I like someone else (who shall remian unnamed for the time being) alot more. UGH!!!

Kohl has been throwing up all weekend. He's made it outside and to the grass every time, but it's a little troubling. Yesterday morning, he ate it. It was nasty. I tried to stop him, but the minute I walked away he lapped it up. This morning, he sat on my keys and kept licking me. He's so cute! He actually whined when Mickey walked out the door for school this morning. It was the most pathetic little sound, and it was sooooooo cute! He was incredibly pissed off at Tinkerbelle and I yesterday because we gave him a bath yesterday in the tub and he kept looking at us like, "I hate you guys right now." Then we were trying to brush him, and there was that look again, "I soooooo hate you guys right now!" He seemed to feel alot better after his bath though, and went from sleeping to playing right after.

Tinkerbelle's boyfriend came back this morning from Indianna. He seems to be doing ok... tired, obviously, but ok. The only problem with him being back is that he distracts Tinkerbelle from doing her homework and studying. The second time she failed her real estate test was when he came back the first time and she spent all her time up at his house NOT studying. Her problem is, she lets the guys distract her...

With so much going on, I'm so stressed out I haven't been sleeping well. I'm so tired right now, that I can barely concentrate and this blog post probably makes no sense and jumps around like a grasshopper on crack! Oh, well. I have more quizzes to do. Hopefully the internet decides to be my friend today and lets me access them. Ciao, my pretties!!!

My Stuff Hates Me!

Have you ever had one of those days where you seem to have butterfingers and none of your property wants to do what you want it to do? Yeah, that's the kind of day I've been having. It all started in English class, when I had to work on the rough draft of a paper, and none of my pens or notebooks wanted to come out of the backpack without a fight. Then my pen wouldn't work when I was trying to write. It was so frustrating!

Next came Theatre class, where the play we were reading decided that it was going to hide in one of the pockets on the inside of the backpack. Once it came out, it wouldn't go back in! Stupid thing. Then, at break, I was typing up my English paper, and my mouse kept clicking on random places and I'd enter one word right in the middle of another word or erase an entire paragraph because it had highlighted the paragraph and I kept typing. All I can say is, thank God for the "undo" button! Otherwise, I would be so screwed right now!

Next came math, where my pens again stubbornly refused to come out of my backpack, and nothing would go into my notebook unless it ripped. And my book wouldn't stay open, so I'd get frustrated and slam it open, and the woman next to me would lose all of her loose papers...fun.

So, yeah, just one of those days where my stuff hated me. But despite all these problems, I still had a pretty good day. I like all my classes this semester, which is awsome! I just hope I can keep up, especially if my school supplies decide to stage more coup de tats, lol!

Break Time!

I'm just sitting here during my break at school, waiting for math class to start. I have about an hour before then, and was really bored, so I decided to blog about nothing....

My friend is completely ignoring me, watching some anime show on her computer. Meanwhile, I CANNOT get rid of this guy on myspace IM, who keeps trying to ask me out! He's telling me, as I write this, about how and why he broke up with his ex-girlfriend. Just making conversation, but I know it's going to lead to him asking me out. I never should have told him I used to think he was cute! I'm such an idiot!

Anyway, with the amount of homework I have online lately, I am soooooo glad I bought my own computer! I can do my homework at school (except now, of course, when I've done most of it and am blowing off the rest) and don't have to steal my dad's computer. Of course, the internet connection here sucks and I keep getting kicked offline, but no big.

Kohl DID NOT want me to leave this morning for school. He jumped onto my backpack and rolled over onto his back so I could rub his belly. Whenever I tried to pick him up to move him so I could leave, he'd bite my hand! He's getting better, but we still have to work on him using us as chew toys. Finally I managed to get him into my arms and I carried him upstairs to momma's room where she played with him long enough for me to get out the door. He's starting to test the waters a bit. Last weekend, he decided to see how poppa would react if he pooped in the house. Yeah, the reaction was not pleasant, and ended with Kohl outside for around two hours. He also ripped up the door to his kennel, which is cloth. Or was. Now it's a big, empty zipper. Poppa's not exactly thrilled with Kohl right now.

I suppose I should go now. Class is starting in 45 minutes, and I need to get some homework done. I have to send my English teacher a blog for English class. How completely awsome is that!? I love my english teacher. She looks like Renee Zelweger (sp?), and she's not afraid to cuss during class. She's hilarious! Luckily, all of my classes are fun...except math....but I hate math....

Hectic Weekend

So, I had an audition tonight for a role in The Music Man. I think it was my best audition to date, but I didn't really get any feedback from the director. He showed no emotion whatsoever, and requested that I not look at him while I sang. I was fine with that. Looking at the auditioner while I'm singing gets me nervous. This time, though, I was more excited than nervous, and nailed my song ("The Wizard and I" from Wicked). Also, when I walked in, the guy who handed me the paperwork to fill out said he recognized me from last time I auditioned there, which was before school even started in August of last year. I'm taking that to be a good thing, though I'm not too sure.

Anyway, my muscles are doing better. My left hip still hurts for some reason, but that's ok. I guess Tinkerbelle fell at school last Friday during work, and hurt her neck, so she asked me, someone who was in equal pain as her, to drive her to an appointment she had with some real estate guy. He was helping her study for the real estate test, and she assured me it would only take an hour. She also promised she'd buy everyone lunch, so I didn't eat anything. The good news is, I got my math homework done. The bad news is, we were there for four hours. I know it was good for her to get that help she needed, but I hadn't had anything to eat since 7 or 8 that morning, and didn't eat anything else until 5. Needless to say, I was a little frustrated.

Kohl is getting so big! Yesterday Mickey and I were playing with him and he jumped up and over the arm of the couch in our family room to get to a toy! He did almost fall, but he made it, and got the toy. I'm not sure if it's a good thing that he can jump so high. He's smart, and it's only a matter of time until he finds a way to get on top of the counter. A couple of weeks ago, Tinkerbelle went to feed her boyfriend's cats while he was out of town, and Kohl wanted to come with her (he's getting very clingy lately, and we have to race to get out of the house before he follows us outside). I held him until Tinkerbelle left, and she said to him, "You can't come, you don't have a collar on." Later on I left for something, and when I came home, Momma told me that Kohl had grabbed his collar and taken it to her so she could put it on. Once it was on, he ran to the front door and looked at her like, "Ok, I have a collar. Can I go outside now?" I really wish I would've been there to see it. Anyway, it's a testmant to how smart he's getting! All of his personality is conveyed through his eyes. Anytime he looks at you, you can tell what he's thinking, it's ADORABLE!!

So I'm hoping to hear back on this audition sometime this week. Hopefully I'll get a part!! Obviously I can't play Marian, as I couldn't sing her vocal range to save my life! It's too bad there's no other real female leads who aren't older. Oh, well. Even being in the background in one of my favorite musicals would be AWSOME! Cross your fingers for me, and I let ya know how I did...
